Ben Israel
PrincipalBen began working in the real estate investment industry in 2019 and has experience in Acquisitions, Development and Brokerage. Ben is a former NCAA Division I ice hockey player and brings his competitive edge to the finance industry. He enjoys building meaningful relationships with his partners and colleagues and prides himself on getting better every day.
Ben resides in Birmingham MI and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Ben has a strong affinity for animals and has rescued two dogs. In his free time, Ben enjoys golf, fitness, and snowboarding.
Chad Petherick
Director of OperationsChad is responsible for investment due diligence, company and economic modeling, asset allocation, portfolio management, trading, as well as investment related operational activities for BOS Capital. Prior to partnering with BOS, Chad worked as the Director of Manager Research and Portfolio Management for Integrated FAS, a Michigan based investment advisory firm. Before Integrated, Chad was a Portfolio Manager with Bank of Montreal's HNW group in NE Wisconsin, where he managed over $500m in assets. After graduating from Albion College in 2010, Chad worked as a sales associate and investment banking analyst at FIG Partners (now Janney Montgomery Scott).
Chad and his family reside in Clarkston. In his free time, Chad enjoys spending time with his family, playing hockey, golfing, hunting, and fishing.
Toni Sutton
ControllerToni Sutton brings over 15 years of extensive expertise in Full Charge Bookkeeping, Office Management, and Client Services to her role as Controller at BOS Capital. Prior to joining BOS Capital, Toni held the position of Office Manager at Accurso & Associates, PC, along with serving as a Mortgage Underwriter for United Wholesale Mortgage and a Controller for both BC Hockey and D&C Family, LLC.
Personally, Toni is a mother to two children, Tyler and Tayla, and a grandmother to Liam and Ivory. She enjoys bowling, playing darts, and spending quality time with her family during her free hours.
Dan Israel
Strategic AdvisorDan Israel is a founder, operator, and strategic advisor with more than three decades of experience building, scaling, and successfully exiting capital-intensive businesses. Over his career, Dan has led organizations across asphalt paving, trucking, and professional sports ownership, with a consistent focus on operational excellence, disciplined capital allocation, and leadership development. He founded and grew a vertically integrated asphalt and trucking platform in Southeast Michigan to more than $150 million in annual revenue before completing a successful private equity transaction and later executed a full operational turnaround of a distressed USHL hockey franchise, exiting at a significant profit. Today, Dan advises founders, owners, and investors on operational turnarounds, vertical integration strategies, and preparing businesses for liquidity events.
Outside of his professional work, Dan places a strong emphasis on balance, fitness, and long-term personal development. He splits his time between Michigan, Montana, and Florida with his wife, Cyndi, and enjoys staying active through working out, pickleball, and skiing. Dan is also passionate about mentoring young entrepreneurs, helping them navigate the challenges of scaling businesses while maintaining perspective and resilience. This blend of real-world operating experience and personal discipline informs his advisory approach and shapes the way he partners with leadership teams.
